I have to have an Ulnar nerve transposition on Dec 12. Does anyone know how long i will probley be off work? It has gone pretty well, the sensitivity does lessen (just wear a brace if you are being physical), and the area that is sensitive is getting smaller. Trust me, if someone would barely glance it, I would scream because pain would shoot all the way down to my hand. Anyway, my only real complication from this surgery is that my hand and pinkie and ring fingers have gone numb twice while doing intense workouts. the first time, this numbness lasted a few hours, this time it has lasted over 12 hours. (It is not a bad numbness, just diminished sensation) Good Luck. There are a LOT worse nerve injuries, trust me. I had my median completely destroyed. Just keep with it. I had my ulnar nerve transposed last February (as well as a ligament reconstruction).
